PHILOSOPHY
Kim Jensen has 20 plus years experience in providing services in the Human Services field, especially with the not-for-profit, government and non-governmental sector.
Kim has built a reputation for excellence by providing consulting, coaching and facilitation that is custom designed, inspiring, respectful and focused on helping others to help themselves.
She is pleased to be able to offer a variety of learning opportunities for individuals and groups involved in serving their communities. Not for profit organizational and volunteer management workshops are provided upon request and are individualized to meet you and your group’s needs.

BIOGRAPHY
Kim Jensen has been involved with program development, coordination and delivery; project management; adult education; and community development for the past 20 years. She has worked and volunteered, in a variety of capacities, with several health, education, and community development related not-for-profit organizations at a local, provincial and national level.
Kim has worked as a program coordinator and volunteer coordinator for the Kamloops Hospice Association, performed health assessments for the First Nations Bands in the Merritt area while working for a local Vocational Health Sciences School, facilitated an entrepreneurial certificate program for Community Futures Development Corporation of Central Interior First Nations, and been Administrator for a Community Schools Association. She has worked and volunteered, in a variety of capacities, with several health, education, and community development related not-for-profit organizations at a local, provincial and national level since the late1980’s.

Kim specializes in individual, group, and community development.
Her experience includes program development and implementation, project coordination, and workshop facilitation. She has many years experience with the planning process: assessment, planning (setting goals and objectives), decision making and problem solving, implementation, and evaluation.
